Sliced FC is a Fresh Cut Processor with two state of the art facilities located in Western Canada. We provide a wide assortment of fruit and vegetable products utilizing produce sourced from certified growers around the world! We are continually growing our selection of food service and retail items, and we specialize in designing custom programs to fit our customers' overall strategies. By being flexible, innovative, and having the ability to deliver within hours to surrounding areas, the Sliced FC team is able to provide long lasting fresh-cut produce.

From the field to the cut-floor we are vertically integrated, which enables us to pursue the best quality produce before expertly cutting it. We have this advantage because we are a company within The Star Group; consisting of 5 specialized organizations within the produce industry. It's our sister companies' main focus to source the globe for premium quality fruits and vegetables, enabling Sliced FC to prepare and ship the freshest fruits and vegetables to our customers.

At Sliced FC we believe that our people make the difference. From our senior management to the junior level production worker, we foster a team environment that allows us to deliver on premium quality and big taste. In our two facilities in western Canada we have over 160 team members, and we take pride in the fact that we hand-cut 99% of the products we produce. This ensures consistency in every package!

Location

 

Our cut facilities are located in Winnipeg, MB and Calgary, AB, which allows us to cut, pack, and ship at an ideal temperature within hours of receiving your order. This means faster turns at the distribution and retail level, longer shelf life, and ultimately a better eating experience for the families and individuals taking our product home.

      Calgary Cut-Facility - 65,000 sq. ft.           Winnipeg Cut Facility – 33,000 sq. ft.

  • Waste conveyor system increases efficiency by mulching waste and transporting it directly to an outdoor trailer via air system for organic disposal, there by avoiding the landfill

  • State of the art Tsunami system for product wash

Food Safety

 

Being a Ready To Eat (RTE) supplier, food safety is a cornerstone of our business. Sliced FC has the highest safety standards in the industry with SQF Certification through annual 3rd party audits.  We require all of our staff to be trained in food safety and good manufacturing practices, with a monitoring program managed by our dedicated food safety team in place at all times. We treat food safety with the utmost importance at Sliced FC and we are constantly looking for new and innovative ways to deliver safe, quality food to our customers.
